Joe Jin is the son of an engineer father and artist mother. He graduated from the Master of Architecture program at the University of Toronto and in late 2012 launched his multi-disciplinary design studio. Joe Jin has been featured in designboom, Dezeen, Design Milk, National Post, and House & Home.
Daisy Garden Rug is a playful and interactive rug that mimics nature, while celebrating artifice. Hand-woven glass-like threads conceal a grid of fasteners that allow snap-button flowers to be arranged, or rearranged, in a multitude of combinations to create random or deliberate floral arrangements (in this instance, the shape of a heart).
