TOMA Objects is a Montreal-based creative studio that strives to enhance daily living through humour and wit. TOMA Objects was founded by creator, designer, and art director Anne Thomas after graduating with a B.A. in graphic design and working for some twenty years at her own communication office. Fusing form and functionality, Anne aims to reinterpret our daily rituals with urban, environment-friendly objects that are both elegant and playful. Anne has presented her various products and collections in Tokyo, New York, Toronto, Paris, and Montreal in trade shows and design events, and in various websites and magazines around the world.
Inside Out Room Divider was inspired by thinking of the production process as a whole. Instead of creating wasted material, TOMA’s room dividers are designed so that scraps and offcuts from their production are used to create smaller objects, such as wood trivets and wall hooks.
